do international students have same tuition fee structure that of out - of - state tuition fee category ? and can a non christain student get admit from byu ?
Asked by vj from india
People of any faith or background can get into BYU as long as they agree to live by it's "Honor Code" while a student. As for tuition, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints receive a lower tuition rate, similar to being "in state" at most schools, while those who are not members pay slightly higher. In state, out of state, or even international does not effect tuition.

I am a Methodist Christian. Would I be welcome at BYU? Are there any religious requirements at BYU?
Asked by Jackson from AL
Yes, you would most certainly be welcome. There is no religious requirement other than an ecclesiastical endorsement in your application basically endorsing your character as someone who will follow the honor code, which can be submitted by an ecclesiastical leader of any faith. Because the school is privately owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it's influence will obviously be present via a wide variety of religion classes, expected moral standards on campus, and weekly devotional speakers ranging from professors, church leaders, to guest lecturers (most notable when I attended was Neil deGrasse Tyson). You will find that as long as you keep an open mind and are respectful, even if you may not agree on certain points of doctrine, you will learn a lot and also give others opportunities to learn from you and your background and experience. You will likely discover there are much more similarities than differences than you might have previously thought.

Of course you'd be welcome BYU doesn't discriminate any religions or races if they did there would be an uproar among the LEFT

Is Brigham Young University certificate accepted to work in the US and abroad Also if I want to transfer from the school, will I be accepted
Asked by ajose from Lagos
Your question is a little confusing because of some of the words you use. BYU offers bachelors, masters, and doctors degrees like any other university, which are viewed by employers as a valuable asset for employment. These credentials from BYU or any other university do not guarantee employment. In addition to these credentials, a non-citizen would need a document from USA Immigration that allowed employment in the USA. Transferring from BYU to any other university would not be any different than transferring from any other university.
