Description: The College of Engineering at Marquette University offers a variety of summer engineering programs for students. The summer programs include robotics, computer programming, web design, and project-based integrated math. Participating students have the opportunity to explore high interest topics, gain skills related to the engineering field, participate in hands-on activities, learn from experienced instructors, and gain experience in a college setting.

Description: The Milwaukee School of Engineering offers summer programs for high school students that are designed to help explore college majors and careers of interest. Students have the opportunity to choose a summer program that best fits their interests and goals. Students can choose a summer camp that provides them with the chance to explore different areas in the field of engineering. Students can also choose a summer camp, which provides them with a chance to learn more about specific areas of study such as nursing, business, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering and more. Description: The University of Wisconsin La Crosse offers summer programs for high school, middle school, and elementary students. The programs are designed to help students have a productive learning experience in the summer. The summer programs include a Summer Mentoring, Adventures, and Reading Together (SMART) Program, and Introductory Mississippi River Adventure Program, and an Advanced Mississippi River Adventure Program. Description: The University of Wisconsin Madison’s Summer Science Institute gives students the opportunity to enhance their understanding of biological/physical research while they learn about college life and strengthen their writing and math skills. Participating students have the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience, present research work, learn from experienced mentors, meet peers, and gain experience in a college setting.

Program: University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee ArtsECO Pre-College Summer Program: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Description: UWM ArtsECO Pre-College provides college-preparatory art and design courses taught by university faculty for high school students. Students can build a drawing skills, venture into sculpture, or learn digital processes. This on-campus experience may lead students to college admission, scholarships, or other opportunities!
Three courses are offered by ArtsECO Pre-College in the Summer of 2017: Drawing & Self-Expression (2D), Makin’ it Real! (3D) and Do it Digital! Design for Digital Art Making . Students may register for one, two, or all three. Courses are $25 – $85 each and come with supplies, bus pass (as needed), and snacks. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis so register today!
