Very comfortable and economical university to study

With Durham and Chapel Hill, Raleigh anchors the Research Triangle, a national hotspot for high-tech enterprise. As for the living environment, NCSU is the No. 13 best place to live (U.S. News & World Report). Talk about finding the job, NCSU is the No. 2 easiest city to find a job (Forbes, 2015).

Excellent Education Across the Board

NCSU is best know for its strong STEM programs, but the university has strong faculties in every college and department. I graduated with a BA in Religious Studies in 2017 and the education I recieved from instructors in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences continues to aid me in my work, and in my continued studies as a graduate student. This coupled with the university's substantial double major and dual degree options means that State is a university for those interested in just about any field. Add that to a close academic connection with other prestigious schools like Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill and you have a recipie for a great education.

Outstanding University for well-rounded education

Graduated from NCSU in 1992 with a BA in Economics. The University was fantastic then and continues to excel in many areas, thanks to a wide variety of academic offerings. The state of North Carolina is rich with great public and private Universities and, as one of the state's two flagship public Universities, NCSU lives up to the state's standard of stellar higher education institutions. Though it possesses a huge campus and student body, I never felt "lost in the crowd". There is a reason why students and alums alike are so rabid in their support of their alma mater - it is a school that is VERY easy to fall in love with.
