There is no place that is going to LOVE your and teach you to LOVE yourself like Hampton will. I don't think I've found myself surrounded by some many people who want me to succeed as I did when I was matriculating through Hampton. Loved my Hampton experience and I was more than prepared for life after Hampton.

Awesome, prestigious HBCU choice

I graduated 13th in a class of 432, with a history degree from Hampton in May of 2018. Hadn't even expected to wind up here until my junior year of high school. But it was worth every minute spent there. Writing this as a proud alum and grad student at UMD-it definitely has its shortcomings, and there are many. But my positives far outweighed the negatives. Take advantage of our precious HBCUs while you can-they may last another century if we give them our love and willingness to learn.

I'm graduating in May, and my experience has been mostly positive. There are things to improve on, but every school has faults. With a new administration, Hampton University could very well be the best coed HBCU
