University of Cincinnati User Reviews and Ratings
A Quality, Urban Education
By Chad R., Class of 2010, From Oakland, CA
I grew up in Cincinnati and my mom worked at the university, so I always figured I'd attend UC. But it surpassed my expectations. UC provides a really global experience in a city that doesn't always feel as worldly. The school is huge and has so many opportunities for every kind of student. Academically, I had few complaints. I earned two liberal arts degrees and thought my professors were pretty terrific overall. I also really appreciated how nice the campus is. I graduated nearly a decade ago, but still love making trips back to Cincinnati to walk around campus. It's not sprawly and doesn't have a lot of open space, but it's perfectly laid out. Great architecture. Plus I love the surrounding area. Lots of hipster coffee shops, dive bars, boutique stores, health groceries, parks, and incredible restaurants. It's also worth noting that you can find UC grads everywhere. I work in San Francisco and I've made many friends out here who are Bearcats. I think that's important professionally too. It helps that companies have heard about my alma mater when I'm applying to work for them. UC provides is one of the top public schools in Ohio. And if you're looking for the urban experience, it's really the best option.

Nuse Practitioner graduate 2017

I loved University of Cincinnatti's available on line program. I found it challenging and friendly. The instructors were available, timely, and provided great feedback. I was very much prepared to sit for my National Licensing Board.
