Community Environment with Endless Opportunities

Drew University was the best decision I could have made coming out of high school, even with its close proximity to home. The community environment has allowed me to make some of my best friends across multiple disciplines and afforded me the chance to find mentors through my on-campus job and women's soccer coach. I've also found dedicated professors who advocated for me as a student and helped me discover my passions as well as an active and connected alumni network, constantly looking to guide the next generation of Drew grads.

Drew University Is Awsome!

The incredible amount of resources Drew University has to offer. An example is our Center for Academic Excellence, which is our on campus Tutoring Center. Specifically, it helps with writing, peer subject tutoring, and academic coaching. It is all student run and all of the tutors are very qualified because in order to be a tutor you have to get an A in the class you want to tutor in as well as get the professor approval for it. Even though I am a tutor, I still go in for help for writing because it is always good for a writing specialist to look it over. All this tutoring is free!

Lots of opportunities for students

Drew University has given me and my friends so many opportunities to make the most of our college experience. It's very easy to get a job on campus, to volunteer, and to get leadership positions either in clubs or student jobs. Further, professors are open and friendly and want students to participate in research work and internships. This was a great fit for me leaving high school; a little introverted and nervous about competition - I've been able to push myself out of my comfort zone and experience programs I know I wouldn't have if I'd gone to a different school.
