Modern and momentous with essential college vibes

USF is making big moves every year and students get so much back from investing 4 years of their life and career into this school. USF is kind of odd because it is a research-intensive university, but professors still make time for you, bring you into their labs, and help you land jobs, scholarships, etc. Some of my best mentors are at USF. The atmosphere is friendly but there is definitely a lot of competition, it just doesn't get toxic. There are so many opportunities in Tampa and the social life never dies even when people leave for break. The new dorms are just gorgeous and there is even a PUBLIX ON CAMPUS! Go Bulls!

Fun environment while also giving you an excellent education

I always felt at home at this school and I truly felt that faculty and staff cared about me and my success. The school is beautiful and has wonderful architecture ranging from buildings that are massive and intricate dating back to the beginning to dozens of sleek modern architecture. The overall quality of the campus is outstanding, it's clean, inviting, and pleasurable to be around. The education is also outstanding and you really feel that you learn and apply your skills in practical situations. All faculty and staff is there to help you and they WANT to help you. It's almost like the people on this campus are getting paid double to help you specifically. It's crazy. From your dorms cleaners up to your professors and president, everyone is so genuinely nice and caring.

A school to watch out for

USF is getting better in so many ways...Established in 1956, it is fairly new university compared to UF and FSU but this university has so much potential to get to the top 50's or even higher. First of all, Tampa is a beautiful city, secondly the education is great, thirdly the weather is great, what else can you ask for. Morsani College of Medicine is updated and state of the art. Not because I graduated from USF, I have been to other campuses in Florida, USF is so beautiful, safe and clean.

Modern, Inclusive, Preeminent, and Great Community

Current third year student at the University of South Florida. The university has the incredible student success initiatives, organizations and programs. Many new buildings and natural areas make the campus beautiful, green and modern. USF has the newest student dorms and next to the dorm village is a new public built inside of campus (great for pub subs). Weekly events and activities are constantly happening around campus. The administration works hard to make sure Student success is the main priority and most professors do care for their students. (I am a pre-med biology major)
