Academics are excellent

I am a parent and my daughter is in her 3rd year at HWS. She chose the school for their reputation for having excellent, caring faculty who typically give as much attention to the students as they want or require. She has gotten to know many faculty in different fields ( she has a major and a double minor, so spread over 3 areas), and has had an opportunity to take multiple study abroad excursions as well. This summer will be her third. The global study program is top notch- lots of interesting topic choices and most are with HWS faculty , though entry to the study abroad programs is very competitive and you can't always get your choice first time around. Our daughter has been truly awoken by the school- both in interests and in capabilities, and in particular her writing has improved by leaps and bounds every semester. This college has exceeded our expectations.
