Great campus-life and engaging professors.

Finally deciding to choose Tarleton State was one of the best decisions I could have made. Coming from a small-town, I was nervous transitioning to a much larger student body of a state university. However, Tarleton proved to be "just the right size" and made me feel right at home. It did not take long to realize that most people on campus were like me in that they came to TSU to be in small, engaging classes where learning comes with relative ease. They do not move you in and out like livestock. The professors, adjunct professors, and even grad-assistants are engaging and like to be sure the class material is sticking. When you are done, you are truly prepared for your career. I have sat in many rooms with graduates of larger , more popular state universities and have never felt inferior with my ability to communicate subject material. I credit my TSU education for that.
