Elementary Statistics class I. took uses graphing calculator while it's homework doesn't even mention it, professor doesn't cover problems that you must complete as graded homework which weighs 20% of your GPA. Amount of homework is unbearable. Professor can't really explain the course content while wastes time handwriting definitions and problems during class. Therefore, you spend about 30 hours doing homework but is taken the opportunity of achieving a GPA 4 or close to it because they impose a 10% penalty on homework late submission. No one is able to submit homework timely as of the middle of the course because of lack of teaching how to use the technology required by StarLab, and high amount of activities. This is a bad system. The dropout rate in my classroom was about 50% this term.
