Asked by Ipress from Pittsburgh
Class sizes at the University of Florida differ, and 48% of classes have fewer than 20 students.

The duration of one block is 50 minutes. Large lecture classes are still taught by professors but have graduate students (TAs) for extra help.

what GPA do you accept for undergraduate international students? how much score is required for SAT & TOEFL for full scholarships ?
Asked by sachi from Kathmandu,Nepal
Hi Sachi, while the University of Florida does not require a certain GPA for acceptance as an undergraduate international student, the average academic overall GPA for the class of 2022 was 4.4. The university does not offer full scholarships for undergraduate international students, but the admissions office gives a very limited number of scholarships to entering international freshmen. Admitted international freshmen will be considered for one of the out-of-state scholarships. The minimum SAT scores required for acceptance are: SAT reading, 24, writing and language, 25 and math, 24, from the redesigned SAT after 2018. UF will consider the highest sub-score from either the new or old version if you choose to take the test multiple times. In addition to the SAT, international freshmen applicants whose first language is not English are required to submit a score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) to demonstrate English proficiency.
