Rigorous Education

When I started at Columbia University for my law degree, I was intimidated by my classmates who had mostly attended the Ivy Leagues. However, many of my colleagues came to me often for assistance. Bob Jones had prepared me well! Not only was my writing constantly lauded, but my professors commented often on my analytical/critical thinking skills. I give BJU all the credit. I slacked off in high school and wasn't sure college was my cup of tea. I grew intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally. Classes were rigorous, but they were taught by professors who were very relational. It wasn't uncommon to have dinner at professors' houses. Furthermore, I learned a lot about classical literature, music, and art. Required attendance at Shakespearean plays and top-rated operas not only helped me think more deeply about the world, but made me an "interesting" candidate to graduate schools.

Best College for a Christian Student

I attended BJU from 2012-2016. It was the best decision I ever made. This school has challenging academics, high standards, tons of opportunities for involvement, caring and qualified teachers, and the price point is comparatively very good. If I had to choose a school again, I'd choose BJU.
