Low Quality education

I graduated from Virginia Wesleyan in 1989. There's nothing complimentary I can say about this miserable place. The teacher's were pathetic and the facilities were worse.

College on the coast

It's a small school near the beach. It does some things really well, and does it's best with limited resources in other areas. The staff and faculty seem to really care about the students and, for the most part, the students really care about each other. It's a great place to work and get to know students, and the students generally feel very open to talk to staff about what they love and if there's a problem. No place is perfect, but this is a pretty great place to study and work.
