Nursing school
By Nancy Nurse, From Jackson, MS
Let me just say that nursing school is hard work! Being a nurse is hard work! I am so very thankful that I had such kind and caring instructors who cared about me as a person. Honesty and integrity is a vital part of nursing and was expected in school. I think because of the school's rigorous standards, passing the NCLEX was a given. Nursing school cannot teach everything that needs to be learned. Much of nursing is OJT. Nursing school teaches one to be safe and critically think. I think I received that education at MC.

Great experience
By Anonymous, From MS
As a former student in STEM (Mathematics), I had a completely different experience than the previous reviewer. The professors in Math were genuine and cared about me and my progress. Many would hang around later in the afternoon just to meet with me. The courses were very rigorous and taught us all how to think logically. No free lunch. MC is not a party school by any stretch. There are opportunities to develop surface relationships of course but I cultivated lifelong friends. Highly recommended.
