Great University

I graduated from Liberty with an aviation degree and I now work for the school as a flight instructor. I can say without hesitation that Liberty was one of the best decision that I have made in my life. I learned so much about how to be a well-rounded person and to be able to give a defense in what I believe and to tell why I believe it. When I moved off campus I was extremely sad because I had such a good time living on the dorms. The Dorm life is extremely nice and Liberty is always improving their facilities. They also allow you to take online classes as a residential student which is extremely nice so that I am able to finish my degree faster. The food is incredible and I frequently go back on campus just to eat because I liked it so much.

Liberty?

I am happy to be graduating after four years of schooling at Liberty University. I am satisfied with the education I received related to my major, but I am disappointed with the direction Liberty University has chosen to pursue. With time, the university has not only solidified its conservative political stance but also projected this standing on its students. Because of this, Liberty University's reputation among other colleges, universities, and other non-Christian organizations have worsened. Sure, the university has a good goal like any other university, to make intelligent and impactful leaders in the modern world. But how well do good intentions translate to good outcomes when the school's management is ambitious for affluence and political, all for "God's glory?" I find the name for which this university stands to be ironic. It is a place that does not foster the liberty to think through, doubt, and embrace a Christian worldview (and obviously, no alternative worldviews either). I am walking away from this schooling grateful for the experience and the lessons I have learned but sad because of the way in which I learned these lessons; by myself and with the handful of genuine friends I am lucky to have made.

Great school with great resources

I recently graduated from Liberty and cannot say enough good things about the school. I attended online and have experience attending college on campus in my younger years. Like most schools you will have bad professors and good ones too. Luckily, I mostly experienced the latter at Liberty. The coursework is challenging and if you are looking at just doing the minimum and hoping to be handed a degree, it won't happen here. They are definitely not a degree mill. Maybe in your 100 or 200 level courses you can get away with sloppy work, but once you get into your core coursework for you degree you are expected to turn in quality work. You're gonna get out what you put in to college and Liberty will help you succeed through mentorship and coaching.

Exceptional learning environment

I completed graduate school at Liberty University. The campus is exceptional and a tremendous amount of Capitol investment is evident in the new library and various buildings. The professors are highly qualified and compassionate. Liberty University is worth a person investing their time and money. I highly recommend Liberty University!
