The Gatton College of Business and Economics at University of Kentucky (Gatton) offers these departments and concentrations: accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics, finance, general management, health care administration, international business, leadership, marketing, management information systems, supply chain management/logistics, and quantitative analysis/statistics and operations research. Its tuition is full-time: $34,264 total program (in-state); full-time: $40,798 total program (out-of-state); part-time: $951 per credit (in-state); part-time: $1,133 per credit (out-of-state); executive: $47,500 total program (in-state); executive: $47,500 total program (out-of-state); specialty master's: $26,066 total program (in-state); and specialty master's: $36,277 total program (out-of-state). At graduation, 45.30 percent of graduates of the full-time program are employed.
An applicant must turn in a Graduate School application, GPA, transcripts, one letter of recommendation, essay, GMAT or GRE score report, TOEFL for international applicants and an interview(if needed). Once all information has been received the file is reviewed by the MBA Admissions Committee.
Applicants are required to provide undergraduate transcripts, 2-3 essays , resume, letters of recommendation and sponsorship, and to sit for a personal interview. The joint admissions committee reviews completed applications and grants admission offers to those candidates accepted into the program.

The MS Accounting degree consists of 30 graduate credit hours completed within one year. The coursework can be integrated with preparation for taking the CPA exam. Students complete 21 credit hours of graduate accounting courses, a legal issues course and two free graduate electives. The MS Finance degree consists of 30 graduate credit hours that can be completed within one year. Students complete 24 credit hours of graduate finance courses, one accounting course and one economics course.
