Full-time program

Our MBA program consists of 30 semester credit hrs. (not including foundation courses.) Students needing foundation courses may be required to take up to 6 hours of our MBA Modules before beginning graduate coursework. Full-time students may take 9-12 credits per semester and up to 6 credits per Summer Session. Part-time program

Our MBA program consists of 30 semester credit hrs. (not including foundation courses.) Students needing foundation courses may be required to take up to 6 hours of our MBA Modules before beginning graduate coursework. Part-time status is for students enrolled in two or fewer classes per regular semester. Part-time distance learning program

Online MBA consists of 30 semester credit hrs (not including foundation courses). Oneline courses are offered in sub term (7 weeks duration). Courses are sequenced so a student may complete the online MBA in two years by taking one course per sub term.

Specialty master's program

The A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business offers two specialized Master's programs - the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) and the Master of Science in Information Science (MS-INFS). The MPAcc program consists of 30 semester credit hours for those students who hold an accounting bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Students who do not hold a bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution may be required to take up to 24 hours of undergraduate accounting courses. Curriculum for our MPAcc program can be found here: http://catalog.tamiu.edu/graduate-information/a-r-sanchez-jr-business/master-professional-accountancy-mpacc/ Our MS-INFS degree, which is offered solely online effective Fall 2020, consists of 33 semester credit hours (not including foundation courses). If foundation courses are needed, students may be required to take up to 12 hours of undergraduate courses.
