#-Best Business Schools
The business school at Siena College offers these departments and concentrations: accounting, finance, general management, marketing, and quantitative analysis/statistics and operations research. Its tuition is part-time: $900 per credit and specialty master's: $1,306 per credit.
Siena considers the applicant’s undergraduate transcripts, letter of recommendation, personal statement, and resume when making an admission decision. In addition, some students are required to submit a GMAT score (see https://www.siena.edu/programs/master-of-business-administration-mba/mba-admissions-requirements/ for GMAT requirements).
Siena’s masters of accounting program is designed for students who have earned an undergraduate degree in accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution and who wish to sit for the New York State CPA exam. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00; earned at least a B- in 4 out of 6 junior level required accounting major courses (intermediate accounting I & II, tax accounting, cost accounting, accounting information systems and auditing). The GMAT is not required for Siena students in this category. Students who achieved an overall undergraduate GPA between 2.80 and 3.00, earned at least a B- in 4 out of the 6 junior level required accounting courses indicated above, and earned a score of at least 450 on the GMAT will also be admitted. Students from other majors at AACSB-accredited schools who have completed course work in intermediate accounting, taxation, cost accounting, accounting information systems, auditing, and commercial transactions and meet the GPA and GMAT requirements will be considered for admission. Applications from students with undergraduate degrees from colleges and universities that are not AACSB-Accredited are considered on a case-by-case basis. Provisional admission is a possibility for students who do not meet the criteria listed above. Please see the Siena College MS Accounting admissions website (https://www.siena.edu/programs/masters-in-accounting/admission/) for additional information.
