The School of Management at Yale University offers these departments and concentrations: accounting, consulting, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics, finance, general management, health care administration, human resources management, international business, leadership, marketing, not-for-profit management, production/operations management, organizational behavior, portfolio management, public administration, supply chain management/logistics, and quantitative analysis/statistics and operations research. Its tuition is full-time: $72,350 per year and executive: $96,750 per year. At graduation, 75.40 percent of graduates of the full-time program are employed.
As part of Yale’s integrated MBA curriculum, graduate students study "raw" cases – which requires them to analyze a wide array of materials, such as stock charts and articles – instead of standard business case studies. All students complete the Leadership Development Program and fulfill a global studies requirement, which typically involves a trip overseas. Students take electives in both years at the Yale School of Management, either through the school or other departments, such as the highly ranked Yale Law School.
There are several academic centers for students to get involved in, including the International Center for Finance, the Center for Business and the Environment, and the Center for Customer Insights. Students also have access to dozens of clubs, which run the gamut from professional development groups to sports teams and community service organizations. Study abroad opportunities exist through the London School of Economics and Political Science and the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in Beijing, among others.
The Yale School of Management also offers an MBA for Executives, a program with a weekend format that offers several focus areas, including asset management and health care. Other Yale School of Management initiatives include the CEO College, an educational program for emerging top executives that is run through the Yale Chief Executive Leadership Institute. There are also doctoral programs in accounting, finance, marketing, and organizations and management, among others.
Notable alumni include Indra Nooyi, chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, and Gail Harrity, chief operating officer and president of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

At this highly ranked, Ivy League law school, traditional grades no longer exist. In fact, students do not earn any grades at all during their first term at Yale Law School; afterwards, they are graded only by honors, pass, low pass, credit or failure. Class sizes are small, often with less than 20 students.?
There are no areas of concentration at Yale, though students may tailor course selections to suit their interests. Joint degrees are offered in conjunction with other professional and graduate schools at Yale, including the highly ranked School of Management. Students can also take courses at these schools without integrating a second major. Especially ambitious students can earn an accelerated, integrated J.D./MBA in three years, the same amount of time it takes to complete a traditional J.D.
With more than 20 legal clinics at Yale, students can immerse themselves in real-life legal experiences as early as their first year. Students represent real clients in domestic violence disputes, apartment eviction proceedings and more. In addition to clinical experience, students can test their legal smarts in workshops and on-campus centers.
Outside of the classroom, students have about 50 organizations to check out, from the student a cappella group Habeas Chorus to the Yale Federalist Society. Students can live in university-owned graduate student housing in New Haven, Conn., though most choose to live elsewhere around town.
Among the law school’s most notable alumni are former President Bill Clinton and Supreme Court Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas.

At the Yale School of Medicine, students are not given grades or a class rank for the first two years of education. To encourage students to take responsibility for their medical school education, preclinical classes are often small seminars in which attendance isn’t taken and tests are optional and self-directed.
Students can earn two degrees through joint programs like the M.D./M.P.H. (Master of Public Health) and M.D./M.H.S. (Master of Health Science); an M.D./M.B.A. through the Yale School of Management; an M.D./M.Div. through Yale Divinity School; and an M.D./J.D. through Yale Law School. There is also an M.D./Ph.D. degree and a Physician Associate program.
The School of Medicine is affiliated with highly ranked institutions including the Yale-New Haven Hospital. All medical students must complete a thesis on original research in order to graduate. For research help, students can go to their personal librarian, a resource assigned at the beginning of a student’s time in medical school to help them navigate through their four years of education. Students can enroll in an optional fifth year of school if they want to do more research or study or work abroad.
There are more than 50 medical student organizations to check out, and the school hosts a handful of prominent speakers each year through the Perspectives on Medicine series. Students can get involved in community service through initiatives like the student-run Haven Free Clinic and science teaching programs at local schools including Hill Regional High School. The medical school campus is located next to the main campus of Yale University, and students can live on campus in the surrounding area of New Haven, Conn.

The School of Engineering and Applied Science at Yale University has an application deadline of Dec. 15. The application fee is $105 for U.S. residents and $105 for international students. Its tuition is full-time: $44,500 per year and part-time: $5,563 per credit. The 2020 Ph.D. student-faculty ratio is 3.6:1. The School of Engineering and Applied Science at Yale University has 98 full-time faculty on staff.
Graduate students at Yale’s School of Engineering and Applied Science can partner with faculty and outside researchers to delve into topics ranging from bioengineering to nanoscience and quantum engineering at one of the many research centers and facilities housed at the school’s campus in New Haven, Connecticut. Research centers at Yale’s engineering school include the Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering, which researches and develops environmentally friendly products and processes, and the DNA Analysis Facility.
