How safe is the campus?
Asked by Frostygal from Roseburg, OR
The University of Oregon Police Department patrols the campus and surrounding neighborhoods by foot, bike and car, according to the university’s website. The university says the campus is well-lit at night and emergency call boxes are available. UO provides resources for student survivors of sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating or domestic violence, gender-based harassment or bullying, and stalking. If a student feels unsafe walking alone at night, there are safe ride programs in place.

Asked by Keonde N, Class of 2022 from Phenix City,Alabama
Hi Keonde, to be eligible for the athletic program, all athletes must be currently enrolled as a regular full-time student in good standing taking at least 12 term hours of work. The typical class is equivalent to three credits, so that is an average of taking four classes a semester. All members of the incoming freshman class are required to attend tutoring and advising sessions.
