Approximately what percentage of students are commuters vs. residential? Does the school offer a strong community feel?

The school has enough housing for the freshman class and some upperclassmen. As a result most students will commute from local areas like Lakewood. Freshmen are required to live on campus though which helps to build that community initially. I lived off campus 3 of my 4 years there, and always found there was community when I wanted it. At least as much as you can call hanging out with a bunch of antisocial engineering students "community".

Hi Ash B. The student-faculty ratio is 16-to-1. There were 6,268 undergraduate, graduate and non-degree students in total for the 2018-2019 school year.
