Stanford has been a wonderful experience for me and I am sad that I am at the end of my journey here. Stanford has provided me with ample resources, distinguished professors, and challenging classes. Stanford has so many organizations or student clubs to partake in. The weather and beauty of the campus is the cherry on top that makes Stanford great.

Versatile University

I graduated from Stanford last year and I enjoyed my college experience quite thoroughly. It has the academics, abundant student organizations, and so much innovation going on. The students seem to be self-selecting and are very welcoming, engaging and simply brilliant that you can tell they deserve to be at Stanford. The faculty is outstanding and accessible to students so I recommend developing a bond while you can. The food is quite delicious while having a variety of options available to students to choose from. The classes are typically intimate which I favor highly. The college town of Palo Alto if it can be called a college town is expensive, but I find it to be quite a nice place. The neighboring areas near Stanford will only evolve over time due to Stanford's proximity and influence to be more encompassing. Lastly, the sports programs at Stanford are phenomenal and I recommend going to them If time allows it. The Stanford spirit/pride is extremely strong which is very electric that it energized me and gave me my second wind during exams. Furthermore, I recommend Stanford to others since it is a well rounded university with high marks across the board with a contagious happy atmosphere unlike anywhere else.

Too many aspiring entrepreneurs

Stanford is a great university but a large proportion of the student body is not here to learn anything. I'm tired of talking to people who want to create the next bogus social media app that has no real impact on anyone's quality of life!

Stanford offered theory and application in the curriculum with an extensive work load over all segments of academic study/interest. I am glad it holds high standards in rigor, quality, and workload to the breadth and depth of the education being offered. I look forward to how the current President Marc Tessier-Lavigne will strengthen Stanford in all of these areas more, as a community, and as a whole. I am going to miss Stanford so much after I graduate next year. I will never forget my beloved Stanford and the experiences I developed here.
