Rutgers University--New Brunswick User Reviews and Ratings
Amazing!
By Will, From Ranson, West Virginia
Rutgers is quickly becoming one of the best public universities in the nation. It has a fantastic Pre-Med, Philosophy, and Business program which is comparable to that of even some Ivy League schools. Rutgers university also is one of the largest universities composing of a diverse range of students. Most people think this school is underrated primarily due to its sports performances.

Best decision ever
By Jeff - class of 2005, From NY, NY
I always planned to go to an Ivy League school, but RU offered me a full scholarship and admission to the Honors Program, so I decided to save my money/loans for grad school. I loved it. The people were down to earth, the professors were world class, the social life was great, and fast forward to now, pretty much every one of my RU friends is enormously successful in their field (and I'm doing well myself). A great great place to go to college.

You will grow as a person
By ReadAllDay, From New York, NY
Rutgers was the second University I attended, the other being a prestigious small northeastern college. I can not stress enough how much more personal growth the Rutgers experience allows it's students to have. This is not a HAND-HOLDING university like many other elite Northeastern schools. There is an excellent mix of people at the university- in terms of academic competence and also of cultural backgrounds. You will undoubtedly witness students who can not make the cut at Rutgers. But this is the way the real world works, and not many universities will prepare for the REAL world like Rutgers does.

The best ever
By Allyson, class of 2013, From Nj
If you can make it through Rutgers, you Can make it through anything. Rutgers teaches independence, leadership, has top notch academic departments and research opportunities, and is so rich in history. Constantly upgrading campus. Plus what other large public school is sandwiched between NYC and Philly? Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great School, Big 10, and Lots of Fun
By Henry, Class of 2006, From NJ
I attended the school of engineering in New Brunswick but lived on College Avenue all 4 years. The school was tough but it allowed you to build up a tolerance for hard work. On the weekend (and sometimes weekdays) we went out to fraternity parties and later the bar scene on Easton Avenue. After graduation i still keep in touch with many of the people from my freshmen floor as well as my fraternity brothers. The school offered great networking opportunities and I took my first job with an alumnus I met at a football game. Overall I would not want to attend another school as it was a great experience and set me up for a successful life post graduation.

Great School
By Stephen, Class of 2021, From Summit, New Jersey
Came here for engineering and haven't had a single regret. The caliber of professors is amazing and the research done is on another level. Especially in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical research, there's just so much work currently being done here that goes mostly unrecognized. With NYC, Philly, and the shore all just a train ride away and an abundance of restaurants in the area you can never really run out of things to do on or off campus. Highly recommend.
