Excellent Education, Location, Top Career-Salary

Class of 2018! I had an amazing experience at Cal Poly SLO. The learning experience is very hands on and your challenged to solve real world problems with their 'Hands on - Learn by Doing' Approach. Difficult Cirriculum pushes you to maximize your return on college investment. One of WSJ's top 5 colleges in nation (Stanford, Harvard, UC Berkeley were on list as well), regarding you return on investment for career earnings. Consisioranked as on of nations top Public Universities, and a top 'Silicon Valley' recruitment center, I felt like my degree in Finance starting at over $100k++ was worth every penny for the low cost tuition. Plus SLO is a literal paradise to attend college! Amazing Beaches, Hiking, Healthy Lifstyle /City, Great Nightlife, Clean, Safe, World Class Weather, Rrestaurants, Wineries, Outdoor Activities, Surfing, Weekend 1-1.5Day trips to Santa Barbara, Big Sur, and Weekend Trips to +/-2 to 3 hrs to most Major Places in Cali... Events, Concets, Sports Teams, Snowboarding, Yosemite, Sequoia Nat'l Forrest San Francisco, LA/SoCal/OC, etc.. A+ Education, Facilities, Professors, Overall Lifestyle and Job Opportunities waiting upon Graduating (Especially with a STEM Degree) . Best bang for $ by far, I turned Down Uc Berkeley, USC, UCLA, and Stanford ($60+k/yr. vs Poly's $9k and change for in state), and got the High Tech Finance Job I went to school for! Would recommend to anyone who is serious about their education, likes the SLO Lifestyle, and easy acces to Local and State-Wide Activities!

Excellent Education, but Poor Quality of Campus Food

Because they don't allow driving / parking on campus by Freshman students, these students are held captive to over-priced on campus grocery store and poor quality cafeteria food. No "Freshman 15" rule will apply here. But the quality of education is great.
