Best years of my life

I attended HSU from 2003-2008 to earn my bachelor of biology (cellular and molecular emphasis with a minor in chemistry). I loved my small class sizes and all the exploring I could do in nature outside of school. Definitely a great spot for those who prefer a slower, more authentic way to experience life.

Outdated and subpar education.

I have been laughed out of job interviews for having gone here, just because i described the courses required to graduate from the engineering program. This college milks you for money, while making you learn the most obscure, useless, outdated material. Then kicks you into the real world, where you can never compete with any other applicants.

Excellent university, fantastic value

I attended Humboldt State University from 1982 through 1985, graduating with a degree in Journalism. The small class sizes, small instructor to student ratio, and beautiful setting contributed to my successful college experience. I feel that I left H.S.U. fully-prepared for my future career, and with memories which have lasted my entire life.
