Terrible social scene, dismal sports teams, overpriced food, morally corrupt leadership, alright academics.

Very pleased parent!
By Proud Dad, From Midwest
My daughter is in her second year at BC and we could not be happier! BC was not her first choice but fate and God lead her to The Heights. Everyone can find "their people" at the school. The focus is on academics, yet the kids still have fun and take advantage of all that Boston has to offer. The fact that there is no Greek life at BC is a huge plus. It eliminates the frat boy, party mentality on campus and removes pressure to drink and have to fit in if it's not your thing! The clubs are how students connect at BC, based on their interests and passion. The all in costs are very high $75K+ but well worth it so see my daughter blossom into a beautiful, smart, confident young woman she has become. I cannot say enough good things about BC and the Jesuit mission.

Unforgettable Memories
By Joe - Class of 2013, From Texas
Graduated 5 years ago from CSOM (business school). Really miss the BC days. As with any school, your choice of major really matters. The business school (especially the finance and accounting departments) is amazing. As a finance graduate, I was well prepared for my career. BC launched me into a very successful career. I was actually able to buy my first house recently at only 28 years old! BC is a very academically rigorous school with the proper amount of room for fun and personal exploration. College is supposed to be about learning and becoming an adult, not partying. Not that partying isn't entirely bad - it just shouldn't be the main priority in college. Yet some of my friends who went to some of the "higher ranked" large state schools definitely prioritized partying in the frat scene (which BC doesn't have, thank god) and have struggled building a successful career as a post grad. BC is awesome. You won't regret attending.

It was good in 1964 and it's great now
By Steve M A&S '68, From Greater New York area.
It was a very different school and campus when I attended, but I am a devoted alumnus and recently attended my 50th reunion. It is tremendous university academically and socially. My future daughter in law graduated, has a successful career and is also a big fan.
