Excellent School

Excellent university for the money with beautiful, historic campus. Many excellent professors at SJSU and quite a few nationally recognized programs. Also, there are tons of student organizations on campus. Lots of smart people at this school, strong core curriculum and great job prospects after graduation. Very pleased overall.

I was a Graduate student in Software Engineering, Batch of 2018. Few teachers genuinely care for your welfare, but the curriculum is excellent. Every subject I have taken has only added to my resume. Don't expect a life outside of studies and projects. Location advantage cos you stay in the middle of Silicon Valley; helps a little when you apply for jobs.

Great for what you pay

As long as you are strategic and know what you want, SJSU can help you get there. Each college has its pros and cons, and you simply can't beat the location. There are abundant career opportunities in the area, but it is a commuter school at its core. The surrounding area is not the safest, but you get a great education during class and outside on the streets of San Jose. You grow up quickly here and if you play your cards right, you will start your career off on the right foot.

If you like being dropped from over filled classes or not being able to graduate in 4 years, come here. If you are interested in a campus that has a dying Greek life, sports community and social life; pack your bags high school seniors and come join us.
