Vassar College User Reviews and Ratings
Transformative experience
By Class of 1991, From London, England
Vassar produces some exceptional alumnae/i. From my graduating class alone, many have gained recognition in their fields ranging from the academic (MacArthur Genius Grant, Fulbright) to the arts (four Oscar nominations, two Sundance awards, two Emmys, Doris Duke Artist Award). My colleagues have excelled in business (CEOs of Flicker, Apax Partners, Adtalem), politics (president of NARAL Pro-choice America) and science (Vice Dean, Duke Med School). Vassar does not just churn out investment bankers and corporate lawyers. Instead it graduates independent thinkers who make their mark in fields as diverse as naturopathic medicine and transgender advocacy.

Exceeded expectations
By Kris, From New York
I knew that Vassar had a good reputation but the quality and diversity of this education is beyond what I expected.

Great education, with personal attention
By Bill, From Philadelphia
My three kids went to good colleges, including one in the Ivy league. The Vassar education was the best - with professors knowing the students, teaching critical thinking, and helping them get internships and their careers going. At larger schools, the professors are more distant.
