Best Choice of My Life
By Robert, Class of 2005, From San Diego, California
I visited many colleges and universities in my final years of high school. I visited many schools that were larger, but what attracted me to Wesley was the small size and the sense of community. Set in downtown Dover, I quickly made friends and found a home away from home. I received a solid liberal arts education from professors that I came to know personally and some that I am still in contact with over ten years later. My time at Wesley opened my mind and exposed me to new people and places. It provided me with opportunities to travel overseas twice during my time there, which helped me gain a global perspective. Because of the size, I was empowered to take part in campus activities that made a lasting impact. I would strongly recommend Wesley to anyone who wants to grow and learn both in the classroom and beyond.

Parent of 2 students

Not happy with this school at all. Both my children were high school athletes. Wesley college had a coach who has stellar recruiting abilities and 0 retention abilities. School does NOT maintain a 0 drug tolerance program and thus most kids partake freely, it can be found in most dorms with little effort. Don't even get me started with the health center, I have had issues with their poor record keeping with both my kids! Up to and including admissions issues and now transcript issues after 1 year of not being a student. Admissions department is substandard to incompetent to say the least. They don't answer the phone or return phone calls, they are no there for the students at all for continuing support. Seems like once they get your money the rest isn't important. At this point academics don't even matter because of the poor support from all other team members. I have deep regret for sending my kids there and feel deep sympathy for those who are current students and part that future students reconsider.

Small School Provides Great Education
By B.R. Class of 2019, From Middletown, DE
I currently attend Wesley College studying Nursing and was a former football player at the College. It is a very old school that needs renovations. The college has slowly been renovating parts of the school so should be interesting to see what it is like in the future. The school is big on athletics as well. This is a great school to get a degree especially in nursing.

The Titantic had better chances of staying afloat

Unbelievable backstabbing, under-educated teachers, most with only a Bachelor's Degree! I cringe when I think of my time at Wesley. Thank God I left and got a real degree from a real college. The cafeteria is a joke: stale bread, two-day old salad bar, etc.
