Top Notch! Just Capital!
By '18, From Hanover, NH
My experience at Dartmouth was medicinal. It is a luxurious campus surrounded by beautiful nature. The campus is huge, and the student population is small, making for a grand Dead Poet Society experience. This Ivy League school still sticks to traditional values and embraces strong outdoor activities. The courses are challenging and taught by the top minds on the planet. Don't be surprised to have lunch with a head of state on Tuesday and have drinks with a top scholar on Thursday. This is what a college should be like.

Happier than I thought possible
By Joseph, From Boston, MA
Coming in to Dartmouth, I was unsure whether it was the right school for me, but now I know it's is. While the academics are challenging, I never felt desperate or like I wasn't in control of my grades. Professors are always willing to help, and there are countless resources available to struggling students. While the college is isolated, the school ensures that students always have something to do. While frats are not for everyone, they provide a fun social scene if that's what you're into. The people are also amazing and I don't ever feel like there is hostile competition among students.

Good school
By Good boi, From Hanover, NH
Its a good school. However, please note that a review down below mentions that only Professors grade student's work — that's not true. The whole point of having a TA is to assist prof in grading as well as other stuff. I have myself graded student assignments and mid terms as a TA (although the prof. does/can review the grades). Like any other uni, TAs who are usually PhD students will grade your work! (That's not bad at all, but just wanted to correct the wrong info that's been given in one of the reviews.)

Best Choice Ever
By Jack, Class of 2018, From Houston, TX
Dartmouth affords all its students endless opportunities in whatever field interests them. Professors are incredibly accessible and dedicated to undergraduates. Dartmouth's unique identity as a liberal arts college wrapped into a research university offers a transformative undergraduate experience—unlike any other prominent research university. I am so grateful for my Dartmouth education, and I wouldn't have wanted my undergraduate degree from any other institution.

One of best undergraduate experiences you could have
By Mike, Class of 2020, From New York, NY
Was a bit boring at first due to its location, but after being affiliated gets much better. Actually so much better that you love the fact that it's a bit isolated, yet still close to Boston. Probably best Ivy for Bachelors. By far the best alumni network. Teaching staff is amazing and reachable. Classes are very small and socratic. Research isn't hard to get into. Not much more you could ask for. Many majors here are severly underrated. CS for instance.

Best Undergraduate Education in the Ivy League
By King, Class of 2011, From Shanghai, China
Dartmouth provides one of the very best undergraduate educations in the Ivy League. At schools like Harvard or Columbia, PhD students often teach undergrads in large lecture halls. At Dartmouth, this would never happen because it is not allowed. Students are mostly taught in small seminar style classes by actual professors. Furthermore, at Dartmouth, only professors are allowed to grade students' work. At Harvard and Columbia, TA's (i.e. Teaching Assistants), who are PhD students, often grade undergraduate students' work because professors are so busy with their research. Dartmouth is a beautiful college on a hill, minutes away from the Connecticut River, where students often go swimming in the summer and early autumn. It has its own ski resort, and owns more land than other Ivy. On its land grants are many cabins that students can rent for the weekend to get away from campus with their friends and enjoy the New Hampshire wilderness.
