The part-time professional MBA consists of a common business core, electives and a capstone course in global business strategy. The core is comprised of 24 hours and the electives 12 hours for a total of 36 hours. Students may concentrate their elective courses in one of sixteen business areas or develop their own customized concentration.

Specialty master's program

The Belk College offers five specialized masters degrees: Accounting, Economics, Management, Math-Finance, and Real Estate. Each program has its own curriculum and each are described below. Accounting: Minimum of 30 credit hours (10 graduate courses) of coursework for students with an accounting undergraduate degree and 36 hours for students who do not have an accounting undergraduate degree. Economics: The degree has both a thesis and a non-thesis option. Students that elect to do a thesis take 24 hours of coursework and 6 hours of thesis credit. Students that do not write a thesis take 30 hours of coursework. Management: The M.S. in Management degree program is comprised of 30 credit hours of coursework. The M.S. in Management is a one year, lockstep program consisting of ten 3-credit hour courses. Math-Finance: This program is a 30 credit hour program. Students select one of three tracks in the program: computational finance, risk management, or financial data analytics. Real Estate: This program is a 32 credit hour program, students can select some electives within the program.
