The on-campus 48 hour program provides opportunities for interaction with faculty and students, as well as assistantships and campus activities. Several specializations and a wide selection of electives are offered. Built-in flexibility allows busy professionals to pursue a degree at their own pace. Most courses are taught in eight week sessions.

At the University of Nebraska—Lincoln College of Law, students can opt to concentrate their legal studies in one of a number of areas, from space and telecommunications law to issues facing solo and small law firms. They can also choose from a variety of joint degree options if they’d like to earn two degrees at once, including the Law/Psychology program, which awards a J.D. and either a master’s degree or Ph.D. in psychology through the University of Nebraska—Lincoln psychology department, and the J.D./M.B.A. degree offered in conjunction with the University of Nebraska—Lincoln College of Business Administration. Students can get hands-on legal training in the College of Law clinics, which deal with issues surrounding immigration, criminal prosecution, and more. Students may also consider getting involved in a variety of student organizations at the University of Nebraska College of Law, including the Nebraska Family Law Organization and the American Constitution Society, and may have opportunities to participate on legal journals, including the Nebraska Law Review. For an international experience, law students can partake in a six-week course program at Cambridge University. Along with the University of Nebraska, the University of Tennessee College of Law, the University of Mississippi School of Law, and the University of Arkansas School of Law are involved in the study abroad effort.
The College of Engineering at University of Nebraska--Lincoln has an application deadline of Dec. 23. The application fee is $50 for U.S. residents and $50 for international students. Its tuition is full-time: $8,496 per year (in-state); full-time: $23,130 per year (out-of-state); part-time: $2,832 per year (in-state); and part-time: $7,710 per year (out-of-state).
