The tuition at the Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business at University of Missouri (Trulaske) is executive: $73,000 total program (in-state) and executive: $73,000 total program (out-of-state).

Graduate students at the University of Missouri’s Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business have four options for their advanced degrees: a master’s of accountancy, the Crosby M.B.A., an executive M.B.A., or a Ph. D. in accountancy or business administration.

While the school’s Crosby M.B.A. is a full-time program, students can enroll on a part-time basis, but must still attend weekday classes. According to the College of Business’s website, students with prior business experience can waive certain courses and complete their M.B.A. in as few as three semesters. The school’s new executive M.B.A. is a more flexible part-time option for working professionals.? The 21-month program mixes online and face-to-face courses.

Students in the M.B.A. program at the Trulaske College of Business choose among finance, management, marketing, and marketing analytics concentrations. Those seeking a dual degree can maximize their time at the University of Missouri by combining their M.B.A. with a master’s in health services management or industrial engineering, or a J.D. from the School of Law. Globally minded students can participate in monthlong and semesterlong study abroad opportunities in India, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Australia.

Notable Trulaske alumni include E. Stanley Kroenke, owner and co-owner of multiple professional sports teams, including the Denver Nuggets and St. Louis Rams; and Rodger Riney, founder of the brokerage firm Scottrade. Walmart founder Sam Walton also attended the College of Business as an undergraduate.

The School of Medicine at University of Missouri has an application deadline of Oct. 15. The application fee at University of Missouri is $110. Its tuition is full-time: $33,674 (in-state) and full-time: $34,289 (out-of-state). The faculty-student ratio at University of Missouri is 1.4:1. The School of Medicine has 671 full-time faculty on staff.

Located in Columbia and founded in 1872, the University of Missouri School of Medicine was the first publicly supported medical school west of the Mississippi River.

Students today can take a break from their studies by checking out the unique events in Columbia, including the Roots N Blues BBQ music festival and Art in the Park, a large creative works showcase. On campus, School of Medicine students can cheer on the Missouri Tigers athletic teams, which, as the only Division I teams in the state, are a major focus of campus life.

As far as academic life, MU School of Medicine students can pursue doctorate and master’s degree programs in the basic sciences, health management, and informatics. Students who wish to combine the two types of degrees—and both medicine and science studies—can pursue the joint M.D./Ph.D. program.

The Tom and Anne Smith M.D./Ph.D. program, which is named after Columbia residents who are providing financial support for MU students who want to be physician-scientists, usually takes eight years to complete. In the first two years, students in this program do graduate lab school rotations and medical school training. In years three through five, students work on Ph.D. coursework and research; in years six through eight, they complete medical school and their dissertation.

The Office of Continuing Medical Education helps MU med students learn after graduation by hosting events and activities, such as seminars, conferences and symposiums. Graduates can also become members of both the MU Medical Alumni Organization and the Mizzou Alumni Association.
