The tuition at the C.T. Bauer College of Business at University of Houston (Bauer) is full-time: $25,983 per year (in-state); full-time: $41,253 per year (out-of-state); part-time: $15,590 per year (in-state); part-time: $24,752 per year (out-of-state); executive: $74,700 total program (in-state); executive: $106,004 total program (out-of-state); specialty master's: $15,590 per year (in-state); and specialty master's: $24,752 per year (out-of-state). At graduation, 42.90 percent of graduates of the full-time program are employed.

Students at the University of Houston C.T. College of Business live in one of the most populous and diverse cities in the country, with students from about 139 countries in the business college alone. Houston is also home to nearly 20 Fortune 500 companies for Bauer business students to explore.

Known as the energy capital of the world, much of Houston’s economy is driven by oil and gas production, and graduate students with professional experience can learn more about that field by pursuing Bauer’s global energy executive M.B.A. (GEMBA). Through the GEMBA program, Bauer students take classes on either an 18- or 22-month track, and travel with their class to another country for one week to learn about international business.

Graduate students with less experience can also explore the oil and gas industry through the energy M.B.A., which is offered through full-time, part-time, and evening options. Other academic opportunities at the University of Houston Bauer College of Business include the executive M.B.A. in leadership, as well as the part-time evening M.B.A. at the University of Houston’s Northwest campus.

Bauer students can also earn an M.B.A. while pairing it with another degree for either a doctor of jurisprudence, master of science in hospitality management, master of industrial engineering, or a master of social work. The Bauer College of Business also offers a program through which students combine an M.B.A. from University of Houston with a master of global management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Ariz.

Graduate students can also earn M.S. degrees in finance and in accountancy, and a certificate in real estate. Notable alumni of the University of Houston Bauer College of Business include Marvin Odum, president of Shell Oil Company; and Charles Holley, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Walmart.
