At the University of Arkansas—Fayetteville School of Law, students can get experience in areas of the law through robust clinical offerings, ranging from the Criminal Defense Clinic to the Federal Clinic, as well as through Habitat for Humanity projects and pro bono programs. To get further involved, students might consider joining a variety of law school organizations, including the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and the Environmental Law Society. There may also be opportunities for qualified law students on school journals, including the Arkansas Law Review, the Journal of Food Law and Policy, and the Journal of Islamic Law and Culture.

For an international experience, law students can take advantage of several study abroad programs. Along with the University of Mississippi School of Law, the University of Tennessee College of Law, and the University of Nebraska College of Law, the University of Arkansas School of Law sends students to study at Cambridge University for six weeks.
