The Mays Business School at Texas A&M University—College Station focuses students on a business environment that is full of constant change. The school believes that successful business professionals are ones that can address global business opportunities, work with government regulators, and interact with customers, employees and suppliers, all the while using evolving technologies to their advantage. The Mays School offers a variety of options for graduate studies, including programs in accounting, analytics, business, finance, human resources management, management information systems, marketing and real estate. Students enrolled in the full-time MBA program can complete the degree in 16 months but have the freedom to extend their experience to customize their path. The school promotes personal attention and limits enrollment to roughly 80 students annually.

Along with a full-time program, the university also offers an executive MBA and a professional MBA. Mays also offers Ph.D. programs in accounting, finance, management, marketing, and operations and supply chain management. Texas A&M boasts more than 650 student organizations and many have been specifically created for MBA students, including MBA Students Helping Our Community and the MBA Association. Mays Business School’s location in College Station, Texas, is less than four hours away from major metropolitan cities, including Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and Houston. The school's campus in Houston at CityCentre is near the energy corridor, a business district where numerous energy sector companies are headquartered. There are more than 40,000 Mays alumni working around the globe.

Full-time MBA program

Close interaction between students and faculty is essential to ensure a quality educational experience. We manage the size of the Full-Time MBA Program to retain this quality. Consequently, competition for admission is high. The Admissions Committee evaluates candidates on work experience, academic history, and professional potential. Special emphasis is given to managerial experience.

Executive MBA program

The Executive MBA Program from Texas A&Ms Mays Business School seeks applicants with a minimum of 10 years work experience and 7 years significant managerial responsibilities, from diverse functional backgrounds, and a wide range of organizations. The Texas A&M Executive MBA Program spans 21 months and is offered in CITYCENTRE in West Houston.

Part-time MBA program

The Texas A&M Professional MBA program seeks candidates with academic strength, leadership ability, and a minimum of 2 years work experience. Candidates are evaluated on professional work experience including career progress and advancement potential. Also important is the ability to work in teams and ability to balance a challenging program, ongoing career responsibilities and personal life.

Full-time program

The Full-Time MBA Program at Texas A&M University takes business education to a more advanced level, preparing students to create and sustain value in todays business environment. The curriculum comprises 49 hours of course work completed over 18 months and incorporates real-world experiences to complement the rigorous academic curriculum.

Executive program

The Texas A&M Executive MBA Program is based on an innovative 45 credit hour curriculum. The content of the MBA degree is delivered through integrated modules that have as a central theme, The Value Creation Process. The modules focus on current business issues from various functional perspectives and stress the development of competencies needed by successful managers now and into the future.

Part-time program

The 45-credit hour Professional MBA program is composed of 39-credit hours in the major disciplines of business, as well as special topics in leadership and communication, 6-credit hours of electives, and an intensive, real-world capstone consulting project. Delivered in a structure for working professionals, our professors engage participants in a three-way dialogue challenging students to learn from themselves, their peers and their professors.

The engineering school at Texas A&M—College Station offers graduate programs in a wide variety of engineering fields including aerospace engineering and ocean engineering, as well as some less typical, interdisciplinary programs such as health physics, industrial distribution and safety engineering. The school is particularly highly ranked in biological and agricultural engineering, petroleum engineering and nuclear engineering.
