The School of Business at George Washington University offers these departments and concentrations: accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, general management, health care administration, hotel administration, human resources management, international business, leadership, manufacturing and technology management, marketing, management information systems, organizational behavior, portfolio management, sports business, quantitative analysis/statistics and operations research, and technology. Its tuition is full-time: $55,132 per year; part-time: $2,105 per credit; and specialty master's: $1,765 per credit. At graduation, 50 percent of graduates of the full-time program are employed.

Situated in Washington, D.C.’s historical Foggy Bottom neighborhood, MBA students at George Washington University’s School of Business have unique access to business leaders from both public and private sectors and to policy makers. The school offers multiple MBA programs, ranging from full-time to online, including five joint degree programs.

Full-time programs include the global MBA, which requires students to complete a residency overseas. Students hoping to pursue their master’s on a part-time basis can choose between the two-year accelerated MBA, a self-paced professional program, or a world executive MBA for mid- to senior-level executives. The school also offers an online health care MBA program, and dual degrees with the Elliot School of International Affairs, the School of Public Health and Heath Services and the George Washington University Law School.

In addition to a variety of degree programs, George Washington University’s School of Business offers a plethora of groups and organizations for students. Some groups include the energy, consulting, and health care clubs; GW Entrepreneurs; and the MBA Follies group. Students can seek respite for the rigors of academia by visiting the National Mall, cheering for one of the District’s five professional sports teams, or catching a show at one of the city’s live music venues.

Graduates from George Washington University’s School of Business will join an alumni network that includes Gen. Colin Powell, former U.S. Secretary of State and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; Carolyn Schwab-Pomerantz, president of the Charles Schwab Foundation; George Wellde, former partner and vice chairman of Goldman Sachs; and Olympian Michelle D. Knox-Zaloom, who competed in women’s rowing in the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
