Factors and Procedures Used in Admissions

Full-time MBA program

Candidates submit an application including official transcripts and GMAT/GRE and TOEFL/IELTS test scores, essays, resume and recommendations. After an initial review, the Committee identifies potential candidates and invites them to interview. The committee makes decisions based on the interview, strength of work experience, academic/test performance, ambitions, career goals, and fit. Admitted applicants typically have at least two years of full-time work experience. The Full-time MBA admits for the Fall semester only.

Executive MBA program

The Executive MBA program admits students for the Fall term only and evaluates candidates on a rolling admissions basis. Candidates are evaluated based on their professional experience (at least 5 years of managerial/decision making), maturity, two letters of recommendation, statement of career goals, resume, prior academic record and an interview by a member of the faculty.

Part-time MBA program

Candidates for the Zicklin Evening MBA are reviewed based on their application submission including college transcripts, essays, resume, official GMAT/GRE scores, TEOFL/IELTS test scores, recommendations, and their managerial accomplishments and potential. Admitted applicants typically have at least two years of full-time work experience.

Part-time MBA distance learning program N/A
Specialty master's program

Candidates for the Zicklin Master's degrees are reviewed based on their application submission including college transcripts, essays, resume, official GMAT/GRE scores, TEOFL/IELTS test scores, recommendations, and their managerial accomplishments and potential. Most of our MS programs admit for both Fall and Spring semesters; some programs admit for Fall semester only.
