University of Detroit Mercy User Reviews and Ratings
Great school, academically challenging
By udmbio2021, From Michigan
from my experience at UDM i can say that this is a great school for undergrad science majors especially chemistry, biochemistry , nursing and other pre-health and pre-medical programs. All my liberal arts classes have been great as well. It gets quiet here on the weekends. This is NOT a party school. most people here take their academics pretty seriously. Also, the engineering and architecture departments have strong reputations

Not for workin class people
By kisha, From Michigan
Dislike the fact they don't offer that many classes in the afternoon for the working class. At this rate, I'll be graduating when I'm 50 years old

Baby Boomer Graduate
By Class of 1971, From Seattle, WA
I graduated from the University of Detroit in 1971 with a BS in Business. It was not my first choice of schools but my parents refused to allow me to attend a college away from home. On the plus side at least in that era a degree from U of D assured one of finding a good job in the Midwest. I was hired out of college by Ford Motor, paid well and had sterling benefits. I was tired of Michigan winters and relocated to California. I was very happy with the education that I received and the only con was the Catholic con.
