Life Changing

I loved my time at Beloit. During my time there I got the opportunity to meet and engage with people from completely different backgrounds from my own which lead to personal growth for me. To top that off I my professors were some of the smartest people that I have ever met. I loved the fact that academics were taken so seriously but the small class sizes and campus lead to an environment were ideas were shared freely. The school has a lot of social clubs and sports as well. There is something for everyone here. I would absolutely recommend Beloit to family or friends if they are looking for a place where you are a name and not just a number.

Changed my life

Beloit's a great place. I was a first-generation student and was drawn in by their warm acceptance of me from the Admissions people to the students. I went on to earn three graduate degrees. Now I'm a professor, and believe me when I say the teaching there is absolutely first rate. I also loved being in a place where the other students were bright and bit weird, like me. This is the perfect place for bright, creative students who want to learn and grow. I wish what I experienced at Beloit was what "college" is more generally in the US.

So extremely left, they encourage hate to opposing views

Beloit culture encourages students to hate and harass viewpoints that differ from the liberal agenda. Students run the campus and are extremely radical. Even as an alumnus, I will never recommend Beloit to any family or friends as I feel this atmosphere is toxic. I was poorly prepared for the real world due to the secluded and radical atmosphere Beloit College encourages. The school is expensive, and the quality of education, facilities, and resources it provides are not worth it. There are far better schools with better programs and reputations for a similar cost.

A College that teaches you to think and write

Beloit College is a Liberal Arts college that focuses on giving graduates the ability to think, adapt, and write. A graduate of this college can adapt themselves to any working situation, regardless of the required skillset. The College community is tight knit, both between students, and between students and faculty. Being a Beloit graduate is about having a family, all around the globe.

Beloit isn't for everyone. If you'll value a tight-nit academic community with a quirky student body and social life, you might be happy here. Also, there is an AMAZING student-professor relationship at this school. Beloit also has a crazy amount of resources for you if you get up and look for them. Check it out. It has a pretty campus too.

Financial disaster

not only a disaster in how much they expect students to spend to attend, this college is also awful at spending money. They started an expensive project which hardly any students support while being in debt. I've also heard from friends who have graduated that you don't make nearly the income needed to pay off such loans

I got caught up by all the promises and jokes and friendliness of the school. While it may seem like a relatable college, which participates in pop culteure, the staff themselves are not so. It is challenging to get straight answers from the administration, and their handling of money is getting worse. If you want to go to an college finding its self in debt and struggling to admit enough students each year, enjoy Beloit. It's the same price as many other, better teir college.

DO you wanna major in any STEM fields, well my friend Beloit is not for you. In fact its so Liberal arts focused and Left leaning that every time I challenge an Idea, I get shot down with a quick snipe at me being a little less gullible enough to see through flaws in their arguments.
