Family culture

Monroe college definitely takes care of their students yes they can be considered pricey but they are a private pay college. You definitely get treated as family the staff is very attentive you are not treated as a statistic or just a number , like other institutions would I can't tell you how many times I have heard the comparisons from a transfer student to how Monroe treats them way better than their previous school. My personal experience in one word "home ". Plenty of resources at your fingertips, if you need help.

This is HOME!
By Nicki G.C - Class of 2017, From New York
What most do not understand until they leave the college, is that the Ohana spirit that is experienced is a MONROE thing! The energy and interest of the staff and faculty is next to none!... As an international student you would most likely enter with a "fear of the unknown!" BUT, Monroe has a thing where it grabs you with two arms and squeeze you tightly (in a good way of course!).. There is always a warm and friendly feeling that makes you want to come to school, to sit with your professors/advisors and ask all the questions in the world.. without having the feeling that they are too busy (simply because they make time!) It is a place for people who are willing to learn, who may need guidance along the way and who really want to get school "out of the way"--since its a trimester institution--not much of those around; which made MONROE COLLEGE the ideal college to get my degree! I made the right choice as an international transfer student- Monroe is Home to me! I bleed blue!

Not sure about this school yet
By class of 2021, From Bronx, NY
I recently enrolled and am currently taking online classes. I feel like through my enrollment process someone was available 24/7 to answer any questions or concerns I had. Now that I am actually enrolled, I cannot get through to anyone or if I do get through someone regarding my financial aid, their response is "they are not sure and I have to wait". I am not sure if the employees get some type of incentive for enrolling students but that is how it seems. So as of right now I am very annoyed with this school and it is only my first semester. I have been looking to transfer to another school already.
