Excellent University That Establishes You For Life

I graduated from Clemson in 1997 in engineering and have lived in the Clemson area since that time. The college campus is amazing and my degree was the stepping stone to becoming the Director of Engineering in my company. Go Tigers!

I could have gone to a number of much higher ranked schools some in the top 10 on this list but I chose Clemson because of the culture. The vibe I got when visiting was like no other school. The students ALL seemed so happy and extremely friendly. I was accepted into the Clemson Honors College which has afforded me access to great professors that have truly formed who I have become. Also lots of my Honors classes have been very small some less than 10 students and averaging less then 20. Socially and Academically Clemson has provided balance, yes I have had to study a lot, but I have also had time to get very involved in both social clubs and leadership activities. Clemson has provided me social growth and I have formed what I believe will be life long relationship with both my fellow classmates and some of my professors.

Very good school

Clemson is a very good land grant university. While football and other sports are a big part of the culture, academics and research are important. I didn't go there as an undergrad so not sure how the dorms or dining are.
