They Really Care

I believe Berry is a school that is defined by the relationships you form while there. I will admit I had a bit of a rough start because of homesickness, but now I am in my junior year and absolutely love it. The student work program is fantastic. You get so many marketable skills all while working on campus. Not every single professor I've had has been fantastic, but most are! They are always willing to help and many serve as true mentors to their students. I was trying to count the other day and I've had at least 7 people during my time here that I consider real mentors. This school does it right.

Dropped the ball

Berry College failed in providing my daughter the many promised aspects that they present as the hallmarks of their institution: 2 full semesters without an available academic advisor; complete breakdown of communication from faculty and administration; resident life of being assigned as 1 of 4 students to a room designed for only 3; repeated inadequate care and guidance from the health center; personal attention from faculty when they need something/impersonal emails when a student's involvement is no longer desired.
