Great experience

Challenging faculty who really want you to succeed. Smart, diligent students whether in engineering or the arts. I remember working at the radio station (WVBU at the time); plenty of social venues. Helped me get into good grad. school.

Bucknell is amazing. I feel so fortunate to be here. Everyone is insanely intelligent, students and professors alike. The small-school setting makes professor-student connection possible, allows for a tight knit community, and provides a comforting intamicy. Schoolwork is definitely challenging; it's typical to have 3+ hours of homework every night. People are generally very social, fun-loving, interesting, and passionate. Bucknell seems to have a "rich, white kids" reputation, but I honestly haven't felt that while being here. My hall is half international students, and while the racial diversity is not outstanding, the diversity of geographic origin, interests, and personalities is fantastic.

Bucknell is absolutely amazing at helping students get prestigious jobs after graduation. The Career Development Center is very helpful, but Bucknell has some of the best Business and Engineering programs in the country, all whom are paid visits by the top companies in New York Metro area. NYC companies LOVE Bucknell, and if you can get a job in NYC, you can get a job anywhere!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

I absolutely LOVED attending Bucknell University. Bucknell prepared me for the workforce and for life in general. Having traveled the world and having met many people from all over, I can truly say that I chose wisely...I am hard-pressed to find people who truly love their school as much as the Bucknell alumni. Bucknell has it all, great people, great academics, great sports and great social life! 'Ray Bucknell!
