Great Student Experience

"Yale is at once a tradition, a company of scholars, a society of friends." This school changed the trajectory of my life, and despite complaints about various small things, I'd definitely choose Yale again if I had the chance. The community really is diverse, but it's not special because it's diverse -- it's special because people reach across their differences and spend time with people who might be their polar opposites.

Best Combination of Undergrad Experience & Name Recognition

All of these top schools are well-known, elite Universities that will help the graduates when they apply for jobs, utilize the alumni connections, and set themselves apart from their professional colleagues. What Yale does, in my opinion, that differentiates itself from the others is also provides the best 4-year experience for the undergrads while they're on campus. Student life is exceptional, there is a laid-back feel that you won't find at other elite institutions. Students respect each other, work together, and look for ways to blow off steam together. From my discussions with other alumni at the top tier schools, I have found this to be unique to Yale. In short, you get to have a great 4 years, then you're setup for all the success you want in your professional career with a Yale degree.

There is nowhere quite like Yale. When I first visited Yale, I was blown away by the beauty of the campus and the notably tight-knit community. If you want to be taught by a Nobel Prize winner and hang out with the most talented and friendly students in the world, Yale is the place to go.
