Transformational Education

The campus setting is along the Charles River in Cambridge looking at back at Boston across the river. The academics at MIT are rigorous, and there is no grade inflation that will allow a student to graduate without intellect, grit and determination. It's a school that thrives on solving some of the most pressing problems of our time, and transforming the world along the way. The professors and staff are incredible, and world leaders in their spheres of influence. The education and experience is transformative. MIT asks a lot from each student, but in return the education and opportunities are limitless.

There's HYPS and there is MIT

Simply the very best. No legacies. No grade inflation. No nonsense. None. Just a real school focused on research and academics. There's a reason why struggling MIT students go take classes at Harvard to raise their GPA: MIT is no joke. My daughter chose MIT over HY&S. She's so glad she did as we are. She's been offered so many incredible opportunities at top notch institutions around the world, we can clearly see the school's value.

I don't even go to this school. I go to an ivy. I visited once and stayed for a week. Learned more than in a full term at that other ivy. 12/10 would stay over again

Simply amazing life altering university unmatched by any

MIT: no intro needed. It's every bit as rigorous & extraordinary as you've heard. Everyone admitted is an outstanding student; no legacy/ development admits. More money gets you nothing! No student graduates without having mastered 2 rigorous courses in physics (no "Physics 4 fun"), 2 calc, bio & chem & 8 courses in "Humanities...". Few graduate without having struggled at some point. Yet few would make a different decision given a "do-over". The opportunities given MIT undergrads would knock the socks off of students at most other schools. Yet MIT's greatest strength lies in its student body. You'll hear that again & again, deservedly so. You won't find a nicer, more down to earth, kind, thoughtful, creative, innovative, energetic student body anywhere. Considering it? Yes, it's worth doing a separate application for that golden admit.
