Excellent education, lifelong friendships

I wholeheartedly recommend the University of Richmond. UR has rigorous academics, small class sizes, and excellent instruction. My professors -- especially in the Jepson School -- were superb. I formed many lifelong friendships with staff, professors, and fellow students. My educational foundation at UR allowed me to excel in law school and in my professional life. UR also has an extensive, tight-knit alumni network.

Hidden gem

University of Richmond was one of the absolute best experiences of my life and prepared me for my career and my network in ways I still appreciate every day. It's a smallish (~3K students) school with an amazing community, dedicated and outstanding teachers, a wealth of resources that enable learning and experiences, and a beautiful campus in a city whose star is rising. You can really write your own ticket at this school, as long as you're willing to work and hard and put yourself out there. Do not do what I did and miss an opportunity to study abroad--few schools have the infrastructure around these types of programs. As a proud Jepson grad, I highly recommend the Leadership School as a place to hone one's thinking and do something more for the world than just cash a paycheck. That said, we also have an outstanding business school, science program, and much more. Do yourself a favor and give this school a look! P.S. If the sticker price is intimidating, don't worry--financial aid is among the most generous in the country.

What's not to love?

The University of Richmond boasts a top notch and engaged faculty, motivated and diverse students on a safe and gorgeous campus near a cool and accessible city. It's an ideal combination that's hard to find! If you've got the stats you should definitely apply. Oh, and if you're low on cash don't sweat it....UR has a huge endowment and is committed to college affordability.
