Challenging & Personable

The courses are challenging and allow for student to student interaction. Every professor has readily been available to answer any questions I've had. Through the residency, I have met other students who have continued to support my efforts to obtain by doctorate. My advisor is hands-on and works hard to keep me on track. The only downfall is the online format. I chose Walden for this reason, which is the only way I could work toward a degree while working full time. However, I do miss the interaction of students in a traditional class setting.

Masters in Education (Walden University)

I completed my masters in education living all the way in Beijing, China. I had access to good quality content materials, books, videos and other online resources. It was very rigorous as every week, I had to read a variety of content material and submit a scholarly paper applying those skills. I also had to submit major assessments at the end of every semester that required me to apply a variety of skills, knowledge and understandings that I have developed through the course. It was very gratifying to complete my Masters program online. I went onto secure high paying jobs in very good schools.
