Academy of Art University User Reviews and Ratings
I was pleasantly surprised!
By Jack, Class of 2018, From San Francisco, CA
I started working right out of high school and found myself in a typical scenario where I hated my job. So I looked around at some art schools and found this one. I feel lucky that I did! The change of pace was just what I needed and the professors were always so kind to me. I never felt dumb asking questions or needing help. My instructors helped me find my niche and now I am confidently looking into a masters program! Life is weird ya know?

Amazing School!
By ProudMama, From San Diego, CA
My daughter has had an exceptional experience attending Academy of Art University. I know her education is in good hands due to the quality of the teachers and the content in lessons as well.

Solid education
By Product Design class of '97, From New England
I graduated in 1997 with a degree in Product Design (aka: Industrial Design). I found that my education prepared me very well for life as a successful consultant designer, entrepreneur and most recently VP of Product Development for a consumer products manufacturer. The school provided our cohort with world-class instructors that extended their resources and connections to the most motivated students (they even flew in professional designer instructors weekly). The foundation year instructors were amazing, demanding and old school - which I loved. Yes, they own a lot of property in San Fran, but I didn't see that driving my college experience. As a parent of soon-to-be-college students, a degree at a private school of any discipline will be $100K or more; these are the times we live in and the Bay Area is surely an expensive place to live. The experience I gained at the Academy made the difference in my career and I have paid off the expense several times over.
