We are so happy with Fisk!

Admittedly, Fisk was not my daughter's first choice, but when her first choice gave her the run-around, she chose to attend Fisk. She was apprehensive because she thought the school would be too small. But ever since orientation, she has fallen more and more in love with this school, and so have we. She loves the fact that her professors know her name and that the school has a real family atmosphere. She is coming out of her shell more and more each day. They stay encouraged to study, do volunteer work and also to have fun. This is not for the student who wants to go to a party school. Fisk is success oriented. They want the students to have fun but encourages them to make their studies a priority. I highly recommend this prestigious HBCU for any black and brown family.

my personal experience is with this years freshmen class . my grandaughter has been getting the run around since she has been there and before while applying. the communication between each place grant office, admission office, and office she has been to is not working . this office is not communicated with that office. We have submitted paper work 3 times and everything was fine now we have to come up with more money because she can't get a grant that was awarded but now isn't. This child should not be treated like she is unwanted at your school. At this point i wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. She should be comfortable and at peace because this was the school of her choice and she has been stepped on since she has been there
